Schools nationalized in UK
Acording to THE GUARDIAN, British government has decided to nationalize some private schools, because many parents couldn't afford the fees due to the crunch.
Under this programme, private schools in England can convert to academy status by dropping fees and entry tests, and promising to teach the core national curriculum. They gain state funding but still retain more independence around employing staff and their wider curriculum than other state schools.
